Saturday morning started right away with a jig and a minnow that was orange and black in color. The fish were found deeper 22- to 27 feet right on the bottom. Four limits were in the boat by 12:00 with the fish were generally bigger than last years average @ 14 inches. A couple were in the 17 inch class. Crappie and Northern were peppered in with the Walleyes. The fish were on shoreline structure off of the sand bar on the contour feeding. "Fast action" was had if you moved slow and stayed on the bottom. 1/8 oz jig was the size.
